Here for the Sew Mama Sew! giveaway? Check out the post below. And thank you to everyone who's entered so far!
Back when I was browsing Etsy for engagement rings, the work of Jaime Jo Fisher was definitely at the top of the list (I eventually wound up with a beautiful ring set by Kate Szabone). Jaime Jo is an amazing--and totally adorable--jeweler here in Austin who creates rings, necklaces, and earrings from a variety of unexpected and found materials--like shower curtains, pool toys, vintage glass beads, yarn, and sequins.
I had the pleasure of writing about Jaime Jo's work for a "Designer to Watch" spotlight in this month's issue of Austin Monthly. If you're in town, be sure to pick up a copy from any of these locations.
And if you haven't already, be sure to check out Jaime Jo's Etsy shop for even more drool-worthy oxidized sterling silver goodness.
